Cape Town – Justice Minister Thembi Simelane is set to appear before the ANC’s Integrity Committee over allegations related to the looted VBS Mutual Bank.
The issue stems from a R575,000 loan she received from Gundo Wealth Solutions while serving as Polokwane mayor.

Gundo, which advised the city and brokered deals with VBS, is central to the controversy.
Simelane has defended her actions, claiming she called for the withdrawal of Polokwane’s investments from VBS before a Treasury directive.
