Five were caught and killed in Extension 12, while two more were caught in Extension 13.
The bodies were piled up and burned with tires and wood.
Residents express horror at the gruesome incident.
The family of one victim, 20-year-old Katlego Mphuthi, insisted he did not deserve such a fate, regardless of the allegations against him.
