Cape Town – Seven people reportedly burned to death in a horrific crash on Saturday when a vehicle overturned on the R61 road.
A report by IOL said the vehicle travelling from the Western Cape to the Eastern Cape overturned when the driver lost control of the car on the R61 between Aberdeen and Beaufort West.
The vehicle reportedly burst into flames, killing seven people, including three children, the report said.

“A light vehicle travelling from the Western Cape direction to the Eastern Cape, with seven occupants that included three children, overturned after the driver lost control and it caught fire,” The South African quoted Eastern Cape Department of Transport’s spokesperson, Unathi Binqose as saying.
The deceased were burnt beyond recognition and police were investigating a culpable homicide case.
