Cape Town – A school principal from Brits in the North West was reportedly found dead in Ga-Rankuwa near Pretoria on Sunday.
The Gauteng education department said in a statement that Moses Kadiege, 56, allegedly left his home on Saturday morning to visit friends.
The H.L. Setlalentoa Seconday School principal never came back home and his body was found abandoned in Winterveldt, the department said.

MEC Panyaza Lesufi said police were investigating the circumstances surrounding his death while the psychosocial unit was set to be deployed to the school to extend trauma support and counselling.
“We are disheartened by the untimely death of our revered principal, and wish to convey our sincerest condolences to the school community and his beloved family,” said Lesufi.
Gauteng police’s Colonel Dimakatso Sello confirmed that they were investigating a murder case, News24 reported.
“The police are investigating a case of murder after a body of a man was discovered at Winterveld in a bushy area next to the road on 25 September 2022.
“The motive of the murder is unknown at this stage, and police in Loate will continue with investigations,” Sello said.
