Cape Town – South African radio legend Kevin Savage reportedly died on Saturday after a four-year battle with terminal cancer.
He was 69.
Kevin’s recent home on the airwaves Hot102.7FM announced the news on its Twitter account.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of a Hot 1027 radio legend. A few hours ago, Kevin Savage lost his battle to cancer. Rest in peace our Kevin Savage. We will miss you,” said the radio station.

According to The Citizen, Kevin’s career spanned more than four decades.
He became a household name and voice in South Africa.

Kevin worked at Capital Radio, 5FM, and rose to prominence as a voice-over artist for the lifestyle show Top Billing.
