Cape Town – South Africans should prepare for another series of cold fronts expected to arrive this week, bringing cold, wet, and windy weather to the southwest and potential snow in the Cape Provinces and southern Drakensberg.
Vox Weather predicts that the cold weather will reach the country this weekend.
Two strong cold fronts will bring cold, wet, and windy weather to the southwest by Friday, with possible snow in the Cape provinces and southern Drakensberg over the weekend.
Snow may also occur from Saturday afternoon in the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, and southern Drakensberg. Vox Weather said.
Gauteng, however, is likely to remain unaffected, with residents experiencing fine conditions and temperatures ranging from 5°C to 26°C in Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Vereeniging.
