Cape Town – President Cyril Ramaphosa is scheduled to address the nation at 8 pm on Monday, following the Springboks’ victory in the Rugby World Cup final over New Zealand in France on Saturday night
Many are hoping for a public holiday on Tuesday to celebrate the team’s return to South Africa.

The Springboks, led by Captain Siya Kolisi, are expected to arrive at OR Tambo International, with selected team members holding a press conference.
Ramaphosa expressed his support for the team while in France and emphasised the nation’s unity and pride in the Springboks’ achievements.
Meanwhile, according to News24, the Presidency said on Sunday that despite numerous appeals for Ramaphosa to declare Monday a public holiday, South Africans are advised to consider it a regular workday.
