Cape Town – President Cyril Ramaphosa has made a series of judicial appointments, including the Supreme Court of Appeal, Gauteng Division of the High Court, KwaZulu-Natal Division of the High Court, and the Labor and Labour Appeal Courts.
The appointments were made in accordance with the South African Constitution and on the advice of the Judicial Service Commission.
Notable appointments include Madam Justice Fayeeza Kathree-Setiloane and Madam Justice Anna Maleshane Kgoele to the Supreme Court of Appeal, and various judges to different high courts and labor courts.
“These appointments will ensure continuity in the administration of justice at all levels and centres of the judiciary.
“President Ramaphosa wishes the newly appointed justices well as they take up their new roles in upholding the rule of law in the country,” the Presidency said in a statement.
