Cape Town – A 39-year-old police officer in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, was reportedly suspended after he allegedly supplied liquor and dagga to inmates in the police holding cells on New Year’s Eve.
According to IOL, due to the supplied substances, the inmates became “intoxicated” and allegedly “assaulted and raped” other inmates.

They appeared in the Phalaborwa Magistrate’s Court on Friday, News24 reported.
The case was, however, postponed to January 18.
