Cape Town – Eastern Cape police are investigating after a foreign national businessman was kidnapped in Qonce.
The businessman, 43, was allegedly kidnapped by three armed men from his business place in Zwelitsha Zone 8 on Thursday, police said.
His vehicle was later found abandoned at Mlaka-laka village, said police spokesperson, Captain Mluleki Mbi.

“A case of kidnapping and carjacking has been opened for investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the investigating officer Detective Sergeant Yiba on 082 441 8799 or 08600 10111,” said Mbi in a statement.
