Cape Town – A woman was found dead in the driver’s seat of a car in Newlands East, north of Durban, following a shooting incident at the John Dory’s Sports ground.
ALS Paramedics responded to the scene.
The victim, approximately 35 years old, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on the scene.
“ALS Paramedics Medical Services arrived on the scene to find SAPS already on the scene. Paramedics assessed a female believed to be in her thirties with multiple gunshot wounds to her body. Unfortunately there was nothing more Paramedics could do for her and she was declared deceased on the scene,” ALS Paramedics said.
The circumstances leading to the shooting are unknown, and the incident is under police investigation.
