Cape Town – The snowfall in various provinces has created a winter wonderland for residents in South Africa.
People took to social media to share images and videos of the snowfall in their communities.
The Gauteng province, including Johannesburg, also experienced a snow flurry, with delighted residents sharing photos.

However, the Eastern Cape transport department issued a warning to drivers, urging them to exercise caution on the province’s mountain passes due to snowfall causing disruptions on some roads.
The South African Weather Service had previously issued alerts for snow, indicating that it would spread across the country over the weekend and into Monday.
They also warned of cold temperatures and advised that snowfall would mainly affect high-lying areas.
