Cape Town – South Africa’s National lottery operator Ithuba has announced that one person has become a multimillionaire after winning the Powerball jackpot of almost R100 million on Tuesday.
Reports said that the person won the R99 983 308 10 in the July 19 draw.
IOL said the jackpot winner, who spent R150, played via the FNB banking app and selected their own numbers.
According to CEO Charmaine Mabuza the multimillionaire would have been notified via SM and contacted directly, the report said.

The jackpot winner matched five numbers plus the PowerBall scoring themselves close to R100 million jackpot winnings, The South African said.
One player followed by matching five numbers and won R547 394 50 while 27 other players matched four numbers plus the bonus ball and won R12 695 60 each, the report said.
