Madatt was reportedly shot 11 times in Mitchells Plain, after an estimated seven shooters pulled up in a white Toyota Etios and a red pickup truck, and opened fire on him and his bodyguard.
Resident were anxious as they expected retaliation as it is believed that Americans gang members from Manenberg and Hanover Park were looking for the gunmen.
