Cape Town – Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is reportedly set to run for president in 2024, and she has set tongues wagging after her campaign posters started circulated on social media.
“Economic freedom now or never” is one of the slogans for her campaign dubbed NDZ22.
This would mark her second attempt at the top job after she ran a campaign in 2017, reports said.
According to TimesLIVE, the campaign posters have been circulating in the run-up to the upcoming ANC elective in December.
Dlamini-Zuma joins candidates such as Deputy President David Mabuza, suspended secretary-general Ace Magashule, treasurer-general Paul Mashatile, Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu and former treasurer-general Mathews Phosa for the ANC’s 2022 presidential race, the report said.
All the commentators said that if NDZ had won in 2017, things would have got worse for the ANC. That’s going to be a hard line to sustain in 2022. She’s also the only credible candidate with a measurable base to stand against CR. This is going to be interesting. pic.twitter.com/zRn59nfhfW

Weighing in on the matter, opposition party DA Member of Parliament, Dean Macpherson thinks Dlamini-Zuma is the “only credible candidate to stand against Cyril Ramaphosa.
“All the commentators said that if NDZ had won in 2017, things would have got worse for the ANC. That’s going to be a hard line to sustain in 2022. She’s also the only credible candidate with a measurable base to stand against CR. This is going to be interesting,” he wrote on Twitter.

The fact that she is respected struggle hero & stalwart – & was married to former President Jacob Zuma for many years, should tell you everything you need to know about NDZ’s resilience & die-hard attitude.
If the below is true, she wants to challenged Cyril yet again.RET warcry. pic.twitter.com/TebAnwPqor— Vusi Sambo (@VusiSambo) August 24, 2022

NDZ remains an ally of Jacob Zuma which is fatal for South Africa. NDZ should be removed from public office as soon as possible.
