Cape Town – The University of Pretoria (UP) has appointed former cabinet minister Naledi Pandor as an honourary professor in the faculty of education.
UP described the appointment as strategic, highlighting her contributions to research, student, and staff development without remuneration, Times Live reported.
Pandor, who earned a PhD in education from UP in 2019, served as a cabinet minister in various portfolios from 2004 to July 2024, including higher education and international relations.
