Cape Town – Police are reportedly investigating three murder cases after three people were found with fatal head wounds at a house in Bishop Lavis on Wednesday morning.
The deceased included a 13-year-old boy and two women aged 46 and 54, reports said.
Police were yet to determine how the victims were murdered, reported EWN.
“The motive for the attack on the two females aged 46 and 54 and a 13-year-old boy in Marlin Street is yet to be determined.
“According to reports, all three victims sustained fatal head injuries and it is yet to be determined if they were shot or assaulted,” provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Andrè Traut was quoted as saying.
According to IOL, Western Cape MEC of police oversight and community safety, Reagen Allen condemned the mass killing in the strongest terms.

“I’m engaging SAPS and have requested further information about the possible cause of this mass murder.
“The Law Enforcement Advancement Plan (LEAP) officers are also deployed in the area, and both entities along with all other law enforcement agencies should leave no stone unturned to get to the bottom of this incident,” Allen was quoted as saying.
He called on anyone with information to report it to any of the law enforcement agencies.
Meanwhile, Bishop Lavis community policing forum’s (CPF), Pastor Graham Lindhorst said said the motive for the killings remained a mystery, News24 reported.
He added that the community was concerned over the latest killing.
“We see murders almost every day in our area. But people have been quite shocked by the area it happened in. People are feeling unsafe and hopeless in the face of the ongoing crime,” the report quoted Lindhorst as saying.
