Cape Town – Police in Mpumalanga have initiated an inquest after a human skull was found near a graveyard and railway line in Hhoyi Trust, close to Mbuzini.
The discovery occurred on Tuesday, prompting a response from the police following information from the community.
“While police were performing their duties, they received information from the community about the human skull. Police responded and upon arrival, they found the skull on the ground. Other relevant stakeholders were summoned to the scene,” said police spokesperson Colonel Donald Mdhluli.
They have called on the public to provide any information and contact the nearest police station or the crime stop number.
