Cape Town – A 28-year-old mother of two from Tseki Village in the Free State was arrested by police for allegedly raping a 14-year-old boy and giving him R100 to keep quiet about it.
The incident occurred when she called the child to her house while he was playing in the street on September 1.
“It’s alleged that on 1 September 2023 at about 12:30 the teenage boy was playing in the street when the woman called him to her house. On his arrival she undressed and allegedly raped him and gave him some cash not tell anyone.
“He related the incident to her mother who immediately reported the matter to the police.
“He was taken for medical examination. On Friday, 8 September 2023 the woman was arrested and detained,” police spokesperson Warrant Officer Mmako Mophiring said.
She is expected to appear in court on a rape charge.
