Cape Town – The South Gauteng High Court has dismissed the MK Party’s urgent attempt to stop Judicial Services Commission (JSC) interviews, which will proceed without Dr John Hlophe.
The MKP had sought to halt the process after Hlophe was barred from participating due to a prior court ruling.
Hlophe, impeached for misconduct earlier this year, was nominated by the MKP for the JSC.

Judge Stuart Wilson found no irrationality in excluding Hlophe, allowing the JSC to continue its work.
The JSC, a constitutional body, selects judges and advises the government on judicial matters.
