Cape Town – A mass shooting in Durban reportedly resulted in the deaths of six individuals and left one person seriously injured on Monday.
The incident occurred during a meeting at a house on Demat Street in Marianhill, where a group of men had gathered.
“On 26/06 at 15:30 a large group of men gathered at a house on Demat Str in Marianhill for a meeting when a shooting occurred.
“It is alleged that some of the men opened fire on the group resulting in six of the men being fatally wounded whilst one is seriously injured in hospital,” police said.

The deceased were aged between 30 and 50.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and the Provincial Organised Crime Unit is investigating the incident.
