Cape Town – Police are investigating a case of murder after three people died in a horrific accident on R23 road near Standerton, Mpumalanga.
One injured person was admitted to hospital.
In a statement, police said that at first it was believed that the incident was indeed an ordinary accident. However, upon intensive investigation by a team of Detectives, the evidence proved otherwise.

“It was discovered that, the couples were having [a] party in one of the couple’s flat. Then the second couple was allegedly involved in an argument and as a result a 31-year-old boyfriend stabbed his 33-year-old girlfriend to death.
“The other couple assisted the boyfriend to load the dead body in motor vehicle of deceased with the intent to conceal the body.

“While they were driving on R23 they collided with a truck and a female who assisted to load the deceased died while her boyfriend was critically injured and transported to Standerton Hospital,” police said.
The boyfriend of the slain woman also died.
Police are investigating cases of murder and culpable homicide.
