Cape Town – A man was reportedly shot multiple times on Banklet Street, outside the Safari Hotel in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, on Friday.
Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said when police arrived at the scene, the victim had already been taken to the hospital.

“Upon arrival, the victim was already taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries,” News24 quoted Nevhuhulwi as saying.
The motive behind the shooting remained unknown.
