Cape Town – Gauteng police reportedly arrested a 64-year-old Soweto man after he allegedly stabbed his wife and two children to death.
In a statement, police said they responded to a domestic violence complaint in Diepkloof on Thursday evening. On their arrival, they found a woman and three girls with stabbed wounds on the upper body.
The woman was aged, 29, while the two girls were aged one year and six years respectively.

It is said that after killing his wife and two children, the 64-year-old attempted to kill the third child, 4, and further attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself.
The suspect is in hospital under police guard. He was charged with murder and attempted murder.
He will be taken to court as soon as he is discharged from the hospital.
