Cape Town – A lucky player has won more than R20 million in Lotto Plus 1 jackpot.
The unknown player bagged R20 995 899.42 on Wednesday, said the National Lottery.
According to the National Lottery, the player purchased their ticket using the Standard Bank banking app.
Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza said the bank will contact the player and they will be advised to proceed to go to the near Ithuba office to claim their winnings, reported IOL.

“We are excited to have our first Lotto Plus 1 multimillionaire for May. We want to advise the winner to bring their proof of identity and proof of banking details when coming through to claim at our Ithuba offices, depending on which province the player is based,” said Mabuza.
The winner will receive free trauma counselling and financial advice by financial adviser as is the case for players claiming R50 000 or more winning.
This Saturday, the Lotto jackpot is a guaranteed R50m with this being it’s the 16th rollover.
