Cape Town – Speaking about the alleged affair between her husband Elton Jantjies and Springbok team dietician, Zeenat Simjee, Elton’s wife, Iva Ristic Jantjies says Elton denies his involvement with Zeenat.
“Elton denies everything and says he was never been attracted to her. I have my doubts, but all we can do now is wait and see,” Iva says, according to TimesLive.
The report also says that Iva was stunned by the news.
“I was shocked. I am still shocked.
“I thought she was a family friend, Iva says, adding: “We chatted to each other and even made jokes. I also met her life partner who was also invited to these gatherings.”
Elton remains silent on the issue and has not yet taken to social media to relay information to his muddled followers.

According to News24, Iva is concerned about how lightly the Springbok management has taken the issue.
“This is very concerning for all the Springbok wives as none of us was aware that this behaviour is actually not breaking any rules and it’s taken so lightly… It’s very disappointing for a World Cup-winning management to allow situations like this to be created inside the team environment.”
Both Elton and Zeenat were sent home by the Springbok management.
The Bokke are preparing to take on Argentina on Saturday, September 17, with Jantjies set to miss the clash.
