Cape Town – Thohoyandou Police in Limpopo are on the hunt for a male suspect who fatally shot his wife during a church service in Makonde Village.
The man entered the church during a sermon and shot his 45-year-old wife multiple times, then fled in a silver-grey Toyota Corolla.
“While the motive behind this appalling incident remains unclear, domestic violence cannot be unruled,” police said in a statement.
Limpopo Provincial Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe condemned the act and urged for the suspect’s arrest.
