Cape Town- Guests at the African National Congress (ANC)’s gala dinner will have to cough up a whopping R1.2 million to have the privilege of sitting next to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
According to The Citizen, the gala dinner will be held in Polokwane before the party’s 110th anniversary on January 8.
The dinner will be hosted by the Progressive Business Forum (PBF).
According to IOL, the gala serves as a fundraiser for the ANC which has been experiencing cash flow problems for some time.

To sit at Ramaphosa’s table, guests will have to buy the “titanium package” which costs a whopping R1.2 million for a total of six seats.
At the least, is a single-seat which costs R5 000.
The next day, Ramaphosa is expected to address at least 2 000 party supporters and delegates during the party’s 110th anniversary at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
This will be the first time the event is held physically since the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic.
