Cape Town – A Gauteng man is now over R3 million richer after he reportedly won an amount of R 3 258 829 90 million from the August 20 draw.
According to Ithuba’s CEO, Charmaine Mabuza, the new millionaire plans to build himself a house and invest some of his winnings, reported IOL.
“He told Ithuba that he will continue working despite bagging a mid-year cash bonus from his jackpot winnings,” the report quoted Mabuza as saying.
Four days later, another player won R1 015 374 60 from the same lottery game, reported The South African.

The report said the R1 015 374 60 winner bought his winning ticket at a Boxer Superstore in Rustenberg, North West.
“In two consecutive weeks, we have had two LOTTO PLUS 2 jackpot winners bagging exciting jackpots. Our LOTTO PLUS 2 winner from the Saturday 20 August draw is a Johannesburg-based gentleman who walked away with R 3, 258, 829.90 million,” the report quoted Mabuza as saying.
Meanwhile, the July R5 226 715 Powerball Plus jackpot winner has also come forward to claim his winnings, the report said.
