Cape Town – The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) says its Gauteng chairperson, Nkululeko Dunga, is still in the hospital, recuperating from a car crash that resulted in one fatality.
The accident, which involved multiple vehicles, occurred on the East Rand while Dunga was travelling with his blue-light motorcade on the R21 near the Pomona off-ramp.

According to EWN, The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation by the police, who are treating it as a case of culpable homicide.
According to EFF’s Gauteng Deputy Chairperson, Philip Makwala, Dunga’s condition is improving, and he is in good health.
“The provincial chairperson is recovering well, and he is in good condition as we speak. He’s in our prayers.
“We continue to pray for him, and we hope that he is going to recover soon to continue with the big task ahead of 2024,” the report quoted Makwala as saying.
