Cape Town – Police in Limpopo on Monday launched a manhunt for five suspects who bombed ATMs in Waterval policing precinct in Vhembe District.
The incident occurred on Sunday.
“It is alleged that five unknown armed male suspects accosted security guards at Njhakanjhaka Saseki Sopping complex in Bungeni and held them hostage while bombing the ATMs.

“They subsequently fled the scene on foot without firing any shots,” police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said.
He said it remained unclear whether money was taken, “however, police investigations continue. The suspects are still at large”.
