Cape Town – A fire broke out at a building on Melle Street in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, near Jorissen and De Korte Streets, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, around 07:50.
Emergency services are reportedly on-site, and both motorists and pedestrians have been advised to avoid the area until it is cleared.
No injuries have been reported.

According to Times Live, spokesperson for the City of Johannesburg’s emergency services, Robert Mulaudzi, said the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
