Cape Town – A 28-year-old call centre agent became an instant multimillionaire after winning Tuesday’s Powerball jackpot.
She won R72 989.37 and became the first Powerball jackpot multimillionaire for 2023.
According to reports, the new multimillionaire plans to enjoy a “fancy lifestyle” and travel to European countries with family.
The Ithuba’s youngest winner plans to retire and upgrade her lifestyle to live her best life with family, reports IOL.
“I will definitely be buying a car that is more aligned with my new life, and I will be buying a house for me and my family. I also look forward to living a fancy lifestyle,” the report quotes the winner as saying.

Travelling to France and other European countries is also on the cards for the woman and her family.
According to the national lottery operator, the woman opted for a quick pick and played via the FNB banking app, reports The South African.
“We are excited to welcome our first multi-millionaire for the year, our partnership with the seven banks… has ensured that we provide our players with the convenience of playing the National Lottery games digitally from the comfort of their homes,” Ithuba says, according to the report.
