Cape Town – In an effort to locate the individuals responsible for the murder of British doctor Kar Hao Teoh during a taxi strike in Cape Town last month, his family is reportedly urging witnesses to provide information.
Teoh, 40, was shot and killed on August 3 after a road blockage by strikers forced him to drive a route that led him to a township area participating in the strike.
No arrests have been made but investigations are underway.
Teoh was reportedly killed in front of his wife and two-year-old son.

The British Consulate in Cape Town issued a statement on behalf of the family, expressing their hope for justice, the report said.
“We hope that justice will be served so no one shall have to suffer such profound loss as we have,” the statement read.
Teoh was a consultant foot and ankle surgeon at the state-run Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in England.
“His professional dedication was unparallelled, but it was his personal warmth, his commitment to friendship, and his unwavering support that we will remember most fondly,” friend and fellow orthopaedic surgeon Paul Lee said in an online tribute.
