Cape Town – The family of former Eastern Province Kings flank Siyanda Mangaliso, who was murdered while working as an e-hailing driver on December 10, 2021, has reportedly enlisted the help of a private investigator to seek justice for his death.
According to The Citizen, despite initial police investigations into the murder, the family believes that turning to a private investigator may lead to finding the culprits responsible for the killing.
Mangaliso had a close friendship with Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, and they both had professional rugby contracts during their school days.
Private Investigator John Alexander is aiming to delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding his death, as his lifeless body was discovered with a single gunshot wound, and his vehicle was abandoned at Fairview Action Arena.

“We were robbed of our brother’s life, he was deprived of an opportunity to redeem himself. We believe this was not a random crime and are keeping our candles burning in prayer. We ask the public to come forward with any information that may help this investigation
“Let’s break the silence and expose those who are behind such heinous acts in our communities, so peace can be restored,” the report quoted the family spokesperson as saying.
