Cape Town – The family of missing German tourist Nick Frischke has sought the assistance of civil rights organisation Action Society to help find him.
According to News24, they claim that the police have not provided updates on the investigation.
Frischke was robbed on February 15, a day after leaving his Airbnb in Pinelands, Cape Town.
He was last seen at a shop at the V&A Waterfront.
In April, the family offered a reward of R20 000 for information on his whereabouts.
IOL reported at the time that Frischke’s father, André Hallwas, said his greatest wish was that his son was found safe and sound.

“It is difficult to continue to live without knowing what is going on with him,” the report quoted Hallwas as saying.
Private security firm TSU Security and Protection Services was commissioned by the family to aid in the search.
Five men have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery after items belonging to Frischke were found in their possession.
Action Society has been mandated to oversee the case and conduct a private investigation.
The family is concerned about the lack of updates and has called on Action Society to assist in expediting the investigation.
The accused are expected to appear in court on June 22.
The Western Cape police continue to investigate the case, following up on available leads.
