Cape Town – An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 was felt in parts of Johannesburg at 21:24 on Wednesday.
The tremor was particularly felt in the western part of the city.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, responsible for monitoring earthquakes, reported the magnitude.

The extent of the effects of the earthquake was not immediately known.
South Africa has encountered multiple earthquakes in the recent past, including a significant 4.4 magnitude tremor near the Boksburg area outside the East Rand Proprietary Mine in June.
