Cape Town – An earth tremor, possibly an earthquake with a reported magnitude of 3.0, was felt across various parts of Johannesburg and the West Rand.
The incident occurred on a Tuesday, with the Council for Geoscience (CGS) yet to confirm the magnitude.

No immediate reports of damages or injuries were made, but social media users shared their experiences.
This is not the first seismic event in the region; previous tremors were felt in October and June of the preceding year.
