Cape Town – A 31-year-old officer, who fatally shot his girlfriend Lebo Monene at Tembisa Hospital in Gauteng before turning the gun on himself last week, is reportedly awake but in critical condition.
According to The Citizen, the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) spokesperson, Grace Langa confirmed that the officer can open his eyes but he is unable to talk and is still on a ventilator.
