Cape Town – The community of Bloekombos in Kraaifontein is reeling after the Thursday morning shooting of Ekuthuleni Primary School principal and his wife outside the school.
Ward Councillor Siyabonga Duka expressed the community’s shock and concern, particularly for the young learners who witnessed the tragic incident.
“I so wish there were an investigation that could take place here to get those behind this,” Duka told SABC News.

The shooting occurred around 7 a.m. when three unidentified men approached the couple’s vehicle at the school’s entrance and opened fire, killing the 54-year-old principal and injuring his wife.
The suspects fled the scene, and the police are appealing for information to apprehend those responsible.
