Cape Town – A six-year-old boy reportedly killed his five-year-old sister in a tragic accident when a firearm went off at their home in Extension 31, Bethelsdorp, outside Gqeberha.
It is reported that the incident happened on Thursday.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu, two six-year-old boys and a five-year-old girl were allegedly playing with a gun in a room at a house in Extention 31 when a shot went off, reported the DispatchLIVE.

The little girl, who was shot in the head during the incident, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, the report said.
IOL reported that on police arrival at the scene, the .38 revolver could not be found, as it had allegedly been removed.
A case of defeating the ends of justice was opened.
“Sadly, the 5-year-old girl passed away… in hospital. A case of culpable homicide will be added to the defeating the ends of the justice case,” the report quoted Naidu.
