Cape Town – The Border Management Authority (BMA) has announced that operating hours at several South African border posts will be extended during the Easter period.
The Grobler’s Bridge border gate (SA-Botswana) and Van Rooyen’s gate (SA-Lesotho) will operate 24 hours next Thursday to accommodate increased travel.
BMA head Michael Masiapato said during a media briefing on Thursday that security measures will be intensified, with focused deployments and streamlined border checks to ensure smooth and secure passage while preventing illegal activities.
