Cape Town – The body of a missing Free State woman was reportedly found in a septic tank in Boiketlo village in Qwaqwa.
Mookgo Felli Ramateletse, 33, was reported missing last week.
“It is reported that the woman last spoke to her husband telephonically however, when he arrived home she was not there,” police said.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Mmako Mophiring said her body was found in a septic tank during a search party, reported News24.
The report said the police found a pair of slippers and lipstick in the half-opened septic tank in the yard of the house where she lived and ran a business.

“Maluti-a-Phofung Fire and Emergency Medical Services units were immediately summoned to the scene to investigate the septic tank,” said Mophiring.
A body with multiple stab wounds to the upper body was spotted in the septic tank and recovered.
Moeketsi Joseph Ramateletse identified the body as that of his wife, said Mophiring.
“A case of murder is being investigated, and no arrests have been made as yet. The police investigations continue,” said Mophiring.
