Cape Town – An 18-year-old has reportedly been arrested in connection with the murder of two women and a 13-year-old boy, an incident that shook the community of Bishop Lavis in Cape Town, a report said on Thursday.
According to police, the teenager is a relative of the three victims, News24 reported.
The two females aged 46 and 54 and a 13-year-old boy were found dead in a house in Marlin Street on Wednesday morning.
All three victims sustained fatal head injuries.
Police were yet to determine how the victims were murdered, reported EWN.

“The motive for the attack on the two females aged 46 and 54 and a 13-year-old boy in Marlin Street is yet to be determined.
“According to reports, all three victims sustained fatal head injuries and it is yet to be determined if they were shot or assaulted,” provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Andrè Traut was quoted as saying.
At the time, Western Cape MEC of police oversight and community safety, Reagen Allen who condemned the mass killing said he was engaging with the police and that Law Enforcement Advancement Plan (LEAFO officers were deployed in the area to work with other law enforcement agencies to get to the bottom of the incident.
