Julius Nyerere International, Tanzania’s largest airport, now has a third terminal.

Serving the hub of Dar es Salaam, the new addition boosts the airport’s 2 million per annum passenger capacity to 8 million, according to the East African.

The Tanzanian government also has plans to modernise at least three other airports, including Dodoma, Songwe and Chato, in an effort to revamp the country’s aviation sector and establish the nation as a regional aviation hub.
