Cape Town — Crown Chasers judge Lerato Kganyago has confronted social media trolls who criticised her support for Miss South Africa contestant Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina amid a debate over her eligibility.
Lerato was targeted with harsh comments, including mockery related to her past miscarriages.
In response, she went live on Instagram to address the negativity and defend her support for Adetshina.
She also went further by naming and shaming those responsible, revealing their social media handles on camera.
“I am celebrating her today and she says to me, ‘no wonder she has no kids’. Happy Women’s Month, I am celebrating my sisters today” she said sarcastically.

This move could be seen as a power play from Lerato, given that the media personality has always been open about her grief over losing children.
As reported by TshisaLIVE, The Metro FM host revealed in February, that she suffered a miscarriage when she posted a recounting of her loss, via an Instagram Story.
“Pardon my silence. This was the happiest but became the most painful part of this month of love. Thank you to my supportive colleagues, my bosses, my family and my friends. I’m strong and will never give up,” she wrote.
“On the 12th is when my incredible gynae broke the news. I’m much better than last week, my parents have been next to me and have carried me. Thank you to those that have been checking on me. I was so hopeful. I’m a phoenix. I will be back. Dear Feb’, You’ve hurt me,” Lerato said.
