Cape Town – Two masked gunmen reportedly walked into a restaurant at Rosebank Mall on Thursday and shot dead a businessman who was waiting for his order.
Reports indicated that the deceased was shot multiple times at Tashas restaurant in what was alleged to be a hit.
According to News24 two masked gunmen got off a vehicle and walked into the restaurant and shot the victim who had ordered his food and was seated at a table.
“Two men who were wearing masks alighted from a car and walked to Tashas. I have been told the deceased was waiting for his order when the gunmen arrived,” the report quoted a source as saying.

The source said they couldn’t see a gun from the gunmen as they had their hands in their pockets, but heard three gunshots before they walked away.
A report by The Citizen said that the man died at the restaurant.
The motive behind the shooting remained unknown.
Emergency services and police were at the scene and parts of the area were temporarily closed following the shooting, the report said.
