Sbu recalled that spending recklessly and living a lavish lifestyle got too much for home when he was younger.
He, however, decided to “downgrade” his lifestyle as he grew older and started doing “better”.
“I would like to say what I’ve learned from the past. I’ve got myself to blame and nobody else. Just that lifestyle. I’ve lived the lifestyle, I’ve travelled, I’ve driven all these great cars, I’ve lived the nicest life, the celebrity life, partying and just throwing parties. As you grow older you know better and do better”
Sbu said that the lifestyle he was living meant he constantly had an entourage and a bodyguard with him, he would be around other celebrities, and would often cover the bill when he would go out.
“I’ve lived that life, I was proud about it, I was young but now I look back and realise I was dumb,” he said, adding that as he got older, he became wiser and it led him to be more responsible with his finances, leading to less extravagant spending but investments in assets and his businesses.
