Cape Town – South African athletics star Caster Semenya recently celebrated her sixth wedding anniversary with her wife, Violet.
The couple tied the knot in 2017, after dating for seven years.
Taking to Instagram, Semenya posted a beautiful post of her and Violet kissing.
“Six years in the making, I wish us more to come. Aaaah ngwana as mpha ke ya tjeya shitah,” she captioned the post.

Violet also took to her Instagram and posted a video of some of her and Caster’s best moments together during their 13 years together.
“Being in a relationship with you for 13 years gives me a peaceful existence. You make my life right and complete. Your love is the strength that drives me to do everything for this family.

The couple has two children together, and endured a difficult period of four unsuccessful inseminations before they conceived their first child.
“God answers in three ways. He said yes and gives you what you want. He says no and gives you something better. He says wait and gives you the best. He gave us the best, which is you my lovely, clever princess. We had four unsuccessful insemination processes before we conceived you. Happy third birthday to you, my cute little princess,” TshisaLIVE reported.
