Cape Town – A month after the murder of Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, police say they hope for a breakthrough in their investigations soon.
“We are not necessarily going to discuss that specific investigation, but we are making good progress. There are a lot of things that we have collected and we do hope that, in the near future, we should have a breakthrough. But I cannot predict for now, there is still a lot of work to do,” KZN police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi said.

Minister of Police Bheki Cele revealed recently that police had collected cellphone data in their investigation and identified that his death was a targeted killing.
With the police closing in on the case, no arrests have been made yet.
The South African reported that authorities had also launched an investigation into the sudden death of Costa Titch, who collapsed and died while performing at the Ultra South Africa concert in Nasrec, Johannesburg.
